I am kinda disappointed in the comments section, where everyone expects anime to be free despite Crunchyroll offering free episodes in previous years. In order to keep the anime industry alive, yes, you need to pay for a premium service (even if they force you in-app!). I have also been using Crunchyroll for free since 2010, but started premium only 2 years ago. Looking forward to new episodes/series everyday is one of favourite things during my busy week.

For those wondering if premium is worth it, I can say it sure is. $7 a month gets you high definition episodes (and additional series on the way!) every week, bringing you new content from Japan to satisfy your anime cravings. Thanks Crunchyroll team, for all your hard work! I, along with others, definitely appreciate it.
I really love the new interface change! Some bugs here and there, but theyre nothing too major.
