I updated the app today and now it goes though the beginning ads but then crashes plus i know its a company trying to make profit but theirs an unholy amount of ads at least make it were I can load a video without ads. Would have been a lot worse but besides the ads and crashs its a great service giving cool anime for free so cant complain that much

When a vid needs to load it often gets stuck there and the screen just stays black.

Crunchyroll is a good service, dont get me wrong, but constantly watching the same ads 3 times in a row?? And these are 30 second ads none the less. There are about 3-4 breaks for ads during the span of the show, so about 5 minutes of add in a 25 second period, not including the intro and outro for the animes, something needs to be done about this or Crunchyrolls runs the risk of losing my buisness.

Was a 5 star app with my premium membership but the last update causes multiple issues that make it unuseable. Constant "authentication errors" and "problem with your queue". Take this crap update back and give me what im paying for. Update!! New version still busted. Way to go crunchyroll. Im gonna join funimation instead!

{UPDATED REVIEW} I wish instead of having like 9 ads, There should be One in the beginning, middle,& end. Also, if you are going to display ads, at least make them different or show them at a different pause. Its annoying when you have the same ad 5 or times.[OLD REVIEW]would rate CrunchyRoll 5 stars IF it would decrease the ads. Its annoying when youre watching anime and at the good part, an ad comes on. Please reduce the amount ads.

I like this app a lot, but I was wondering if you can put an English dub option. Because I like the English dub better than the original voicing for some amines. You could keep the original voicing, but you could also add a English dub option.

Crunchy Roll app needs to be bug free and fixed with some major updates. Ive been waiting for more than 9 months and nothing. How sad, wont be using this app any more. Goodbye.

Its really good! I would give five star if it didnt have so many ads but, any other way, the app is great! I recommend it to anyone interested in any anime.

So many ads

Crunchyroll is an AMAZING anime streaming service! But nonetheless, many of the reviews here are negative. Some of the things brought up are justified, but most are not. A major complaint is ads. Do u know why there are so many ads? Because u are using an app for FREE. It takes money to license and stream this anime. Crunchyroll obtains their anime legally, which supports the creators. So instead of expecting everything to just be handed to you, pay the (very cheap) fee of $6.99 a month, which helps support this amazing service and the creators.

Im fine with the ads but they keep freezing, please fix it

Wanted to give crunchy roll a try, havent used the site in years but the app is seriously frustrating I can only load the very beginning of any show then when it goes to the 2nd commercial the screen goes black and the whole app freezes totally useless app please update your technology omg

I dont mind the ads , I dont mind them at all , but now these black screens just kills it all , having to close out the app and retry it just to get the same result , please fix

First of all, for people complaining about the ads, SHUT UP. The ads not only contribute money for the crunchyroll staff but also to the anime industry. By putting these ads, this prompts viewers to buy the premium which gives money to the makers of the anime. (WHICH THE DESERVE) Now if you dont care about anime at all, then go to some pirate website. The makers of the anime work so hard and all we so is rip them off by watching their work for free on pirate websites. At least you dont have to pay, so put up with the ads. If you really care about anime. However the only thing I can complain about is that the app keeps on crashing on me and when the ads come, the screen turns black and it stops working. Its really annoying. Please fix this as soon as you can

Ive been using this app for a while, and I like the fact that it make it easy to keep watching your favorite anime series, without skipping videos by accident or forgetting which video is next. Now, my biggest problem with this app is that, in my queue, I have listed a few old anime series that I have no problem watching on a PC, but I cant watch them on an iPhone or iPad because they just dont appear on my queue, and they also arent listed in the app. In my naiveness, I tried accessing Crunchyroll using Safari and Chrome, hoping I could be able watch the missing series there, but the stupid thing wont let me watch anything and keeps urging me to download the app. For that reason Im giving this app just two stars. I mean, I understand that maybe the app doesnt have enough room for all the anime series they have listed on the PC version, but why isnt there another way to access those anime series on Crunchyroll on the IPhone and iPad? I have Premium membership and it frustrates me not to be able to watch all the anime I want :(

Okay,I love crunchyroll they have a wide range of shows to watch such as Free!, Attack on Titan, and Your lie in April. Just one thing, the ads are horrible and usually when Im watching my show its right at the good part then a black screen comes up and get very annoyed. Please crunchyroll people if your reading this take away the ads because they are just a waste of time and also you dont need to put the ads in Spanish to because that just takes even longer.

I like Cronchyroll but I HATE the ADDS there so annoying cause when ever I watch something I hate when I have to wait for stuff I dont even want and Im like oh my gosh so ANNOYING

It was enough that I had to to watch nine ads per show and that most of them were the same one but now the ads last from 9-47 minutes and they do have a "skip ad" button, which by the way, doesnt work at all. I dont know if the skip ad button or the 47 min. Ad itself is broken and/or a bug/glitch, but I will not rate this app 5 stars unless you do something about this because that kind of time is just absurd...

Since the update whenever I try to watch any anime it doesnt work, nor the ads or the anime, it is just a black screen, please fix it cause that doesnt happen in the computer but in my cellphone it does, please fix it
