Theres a bug that after an ad finishes a black screen appears and I have to exit and reload the app

The amount of ads is overwhelming. Ads after ads after ads. Its making me tired of the app and I just got it. Gave it a rating of two stars.

Watching the same ads literally 3 times in a row is bad enough but when you get a black screen that makes you restart the app your show and consequently the ads, that is ridiculous, had this app for a long time and getting fed up. Ive gotten to points when I restart the app 15 times and it will not load an ad or the episode and I am forced to stop using the app. Another problem is that if you leave the app in the background (on home screen) to check your email or something and go back the app says failure to load feed with a retry button that doesnt work and once again you are forced to restart the app.

This app is amazing. Free anime with a wide selection. As far as I can tell the only problem is the bugs. For example I realize ads are a necessary evil of free things but a blank black screen that doesnt go away unless you close the app is completely unnecessary. Sometimes in the middle of the episode there will be an ad break and the ordinary loading spiny thing and then nothing. I waited for ten minutes once but the black screen didnt leave there. Im guessing this is a problem with the server b/c its across the board affecting all anime episodes. You just have to wait a few hours and then the ads will actually play again but its still very annoying.

I like it but it keeps freezing on me and I am sad all of my favorite shows I cannot launch

As the title suggests, some bugs need to be addressed for the mobile platform. While this app is fantastic and Ive been using it for almost two years now, there is a current bug involving the ads that play during the show. I have noticed that many times when I start watching something the ad will usually come up on my screen. Normal right? Up until the ad itself doesnt even start playing and at that point I just have a black screen. From there I have to continually restart the app just for the ad to play through and this happens almost every single time an ad is supposed to start playing. This needs to be fixed, Crunchyroll or I cannot continue using your app until something gets fixed. :c

This App Is awesome Im new To Anime And I really Like It I was Only About 5 Mins Into My First One When The Screen Turned Black And A Spinning Circle Of Death Appeared It Wont Let Me Watch Anything Please Fix This Glitch :/

Awesome with premium had no ads amazing and get access to shows early

I love this app and I dont even mind the ads that much, but for some reason the ads keep freezing and I have to close the app and go back on it only to have the ads freeze again so I cant get past a particular spot. I thought the new update would fix it, but it didnt and the problem resurfaced.

To many adds get ride of some make one ad at the beggining and one at the end of the episode

Crunchyroll is great because you can watch FREE anime and drama! Not only that, Crunchyroll includes some of THE BEST animes ever and has a Premium Subscription program for those that want it. Crunchyroll is great! ❤️ Wait.....whats that you say? You dont have it yet...? What a pity...GET CRUNCHYROLL NOW!

Recent update has just made the app worse

Great app, but before some ads play, a black screen will show up and it wont go away. Please fix

The app itself works fine but what really bothers me is all of the Shows Ive seen on here are not in my language and I know the English dubs of the shows exist. Thats what really kills it for me.

When I go to watch an anime, I get the loading spinning and then a black screen that doesnt go away. I love this app and the various content of anime it provides. (Missing a few great anime series, I.e Tokyo Ghoul) Ive been using this app for a year and a half now and no problems until now. Please fix ASAP!! Im in the middle of a series

YOU GOT TO BE KIDDING. The black screens with the ads have gone on for months even AFTER your so called "bug fixes" So ridiculous. If rather stop using the app than have to pay.

I dont mind the ads. Im just frustrated about the black screen that appears before the ads and has been preventing me from watching episode aldnoah zero. Is this a away to sway people to go to premium services?

Its a great app but I keep see the same ads!! Im angry and annoyed!!!!!

Has waaay too many ads. So mani in fact that my iPhone either crashes or wont play it. Better fix the ads-no-play glitch...
